The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here again! As I’ve gotten older and tried to consume less for myself, I found that the best deals at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are really for kids clothes and baby gear. Assuming you are a parent, of course. Otherwise… it would not be a very good deal for you to spend hundreds of dollars on baby gear. But if you ARE a parent, then yes, spending hundreds of dollars during the Anniversary Sale is a much better deal than spending thousands of dollars at other times. Did I mention kids are expensive? Anyway, two kids later, and here are my recommendations for best kids and baby products at Nordstrom!

Diaper Backpacks – Herschel and Longchamp

I used to use a Longchamp tote bag as a diaper bag, and I loved it. It was lightweight and held EVERYTHING, especially with the little tote bag organizer I bought off Amazon. However, now with two kids, I really need to be able to use both my arms. I’ve been using a regular backpack, but I just want something cuter. Herschel has a diaper backpack as part of the Anniversary Sale, but I think I’m going to get the Longchamp backpack instead. It’s not specifically designed as diaper bag, but it has the same lightweight feel as the tote and it’s much cuter than many of the bags advertised as diaper bags. Longchamp handbags go on sale every Anniversary Sale, and it’s always a really great deal. Their Le Pliage expandable tote is also part of the sale, which I highly recommend. I use it as an airplane carryon, as it fits under an airplane seat!

North Face Kids Coats Sale

The Anniversary Sale is also a great time to stock up on expensive winter coats. Kids grow so fast, buying them new winter coats every year can be a big expense. Might as well get them on sale!

Kids Hunter Rainboots Sale

We buy Jemma new Hunter rainboots every Anniversary Sale! On sale, the price for Hunter boots is not significantly different than the price of other generic brand boots, so it’s a great deal. The colors are limited, but they are always high quality and last for the whole year.

Discounts on Stokke and Other Feeding Gear

The Stokke tripp trapp high chair is one of the best deals at the Anniversary Sale! If you haven’t heard of it, the tripp trapp high chair has got a CULT following. Parents rave about how great it is. We have one. It’s great. But I’m going to be honest, I’m not sure why it’s loved so much more than other high chairs. Regardless, if you were planning on getting one, THIS IS THE TIME. Other feeding tools on sale include the EZPZ silicone feeding sets. We use these as well, and they’re really useful in keeping dinnerware ON the table and not on the floor. Can’t say the same for the food that goes inside it…

Best Deals on Strollers (Uppababy Vista and Thule)

The deals on strollers at the Anniversary Sale are REALLY good. We got our Babyzen during the sale a few years back, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen it as part of the sale for the past two years. Most of my friends out here in the suburbs of the west coast, however, seem to prefer the Uppababy Vista anyway. It’s a little heavier and bigger, but it holds a lot more stuff. A couple of Thule strollers are also part of this year’s Anniversary Sale. We have the jogging stroller, which is not on sale, sadly, but we can say without a doubt that Thule has VERY high quality products.
