This delicious alternative to cornbread was a hit! I skipped the dry milk powder and included sour cream, and everyone loved it, preferring it to regular cornbread, which can be drier. I will definitely make again!!
]]>So delish! Made it twice, and on the second time I added about a cup of sour cream by accident instead of 1/2c. It’s still the perfect mochi like texture straight out of the refrigerator. It’s definitely our new favorite cornbread recipe.
]]>Hi, you can just add it in with the rest of the wet ingredients. It’s a very forgiving recipe so it doesn’t make much difference the exact order.
]]>Will give this recipe a whirl !
]]>Thanks, Wade! Let me know if there’s anything you thought was missing that would turn it into a 5 star recipe!
]]>Thanks for the recipe! Tried the original recipe, and we liked the moistness and texture. The corn flavor was good too, although that might’ve been affected by the cornmeal (we ground it ourselves). Will try adding yogurt the next time to see how that affects it.
]]>Awwww I love to hear when kids are able to follow the recipes too. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! It means a lot!
]]>Loved this recipe! Tried it for Thanksgiving last year and it’s really well written, and so easy to follow that my 12 year old nephew was able to help out and make this with me no problem. Everyone loved it and it was the one dish that did not have leftovers. Can’t wait to make this again for Thanksgiving this year!
