I don’t think there is a “supposed” to be, as it can be made however you like it! For me, I would personally do it after, but you can make it up to your tastes 🙂

If I’m adding in chocolate lime mini Reese’s, do I add them before baking or after? Are they supposed to be all melted in or not?

1.7oz – there’s a link to the exact bottle I use in the recipe card if you click on the “furikake.”

Hi! Add your mix-ins to the cereal before pouring the sauce. A good way to do it is have your baking pan ready, fill it with the cereal and mix-ins, and stir before pouring the sauce on top. That way you can see the ratio of the end product and won’t accidentally add too much of anything. Sounds yummy!

Hi! Thank you so much for this recipe it’s delicious! If like to make it again with add ins. Do I mix the add ins to the sauce before baking as well? I’m thinking pretzels and bagel chips. Maybe peanuts. Or do I mix them afterwards? Thanks!

Hi, you can do anywhere from 1/2 to 1 cup depending on your tastes. It’s really flexible!

Also yo can order from Seattle the Bite Society Furikake snack mix and it is delicious I believe they use peanuts and almonds. And have also heard rave reviews about the Trader Joes sugarer rice cracker stars so I will make it with those two alimg with a little red pepper for some kick.
